This is a tour which takes you to visit the widest and the most important archeological site of our days, Pompeii, but also Sorrento and the Mount Vesuvius, the biggest active volcano of Europe on the mainland.

In Pompeii you will visit the archaeological excavations and you will discover the secrets of this beautiful ancient Roman city, destroyed by the eruption of the volcano in 79 B.C, walking through the Abundance Street and passing through imperial forums, temples, thermal baths, villas and the Amphitheatre.

On the Mount Vesuvius you will climb into the Vesuvius National Park reaching 900 meters’ altitude. Then you will continue by foot for 20 minutes to arrive to the top of 1300 meters’ height, passing through a dug up grave. Once you arrive at the crater your expert Alpine guides will illustrate the monitoring and the history of the Vesuvius and of its numerous and famous eruptions.

Last stop of this tour is Sorrento where you can admire the colorful landscapes and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples that have made this destination famous all over the world. Here, you can stroll through the quaint alleys full of colors and folklore. Moving towards the heart of the city you can walk trough the little streets of the centre where is possible to buy souvenir and local products like limoncello or inlaid wood crafts.
